This is in further reference to the Postal Service’s July 29, 2022 correspondence (enclosed) concerning establishment of Sorting and Delivery Centers (S&DCs). The purpose of establishing S&DCs is to reduce transportation and mail handling costs as wel as provide postal customers with additional services. S&DCs will allow for easier standardization and management of operations wil have improved building and operating conditions for employees.
